YOUR IMPACT:

We are currently seeking Superintendent SMP for FIFO projects and shutdown maintenance works on a full-time permanent contract across various projects. 

Responsible for providing leadership to the construction and shutdown teams, establishing the plans, and methodologies to successfully carry out works, and continue to develop client relationships. Stakeholder management will be a pivotal part of the role.

• Providing leadership, guidance, oversight, and instruction to Supervisors to ensure successful completion of works.
• Act as a Company representative for operational matters.
• Provide input into the selection of plant, equipment, and materials.
• Fully understand and drive adherence to all Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Building and maintaining effective working relationships with clients that leads to future opportunities.
• Assisting in Tender submissions deliverables.
• Providing regular reporting to the Construction Manager on project progress.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Knowledge of OH&S Legislation and responsibility
• Understanding of current industrial relations environment and obligations
• Able to perform well under pressure.
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills

WHAT YOU’VE DONE BEFORE:

• At least 5 years in a similar leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in business development.
• High level influencing and negotiation skills.
• Strong ability to balance work completion with cost and quality requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Trade qualification (structural or mechanical desirable) or equivalent experience.
